Good ol' home cookin' at its best.
2 unbaked 9-in. pie shells 5 C. apples 3/4 C. sugar 4 Tbs. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 C. heavy cream 1 Tbs. sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Prepare pie shells. Peel and slice apples. Mix together 3/4 C. sugar, flour, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and heavy cream. Pour over apples; mix well. Arrange in pastry shell. Combine 1 Tbs. sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over top of apple mixture. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees
