This quick and easy cake cooks in your crockpot for added convenience.
1/2 C. brown sugar 3/4 C. water 2 Tbs. cocoa 2 1/2 C. brownie mix 1 egg 1/4 C. peanut butter 1 Tbs. soft margarine 1/4 C. water 1/4-1/2 C. chocolate chips
Combine 3/4 C. water, brown sugar, cocoa in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. In the meantime, combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Mix together well. Spread the batter evenly in the bottom of a lightly buttered slow cooker. Pour boiling mixture over the batter. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Turn heat off and let stand another 30 minutes. Spoon into dessert dishes while warm. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
