This pasta casserole is a unique blend of ingredients with a winning result.
3 C. uncooked ziti pasta 1 lb. ground beef 1 med onion, chopped 1/4 C. chopped fresh parsley 1 C. milk 1 C. barbecue sauce 1 C. shredded mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 quart casserole. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. While pasta is cooking, cook beef and onion in 10 inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Mix beef, pasta, 3 Tbs. of the parsley, the milk, barbecue sauce, mozzarella cheese and 1 C. of the cheddar cheese. Spoon into casserole. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 C. cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbs. parsley. Makes 6 servings.
