This is a very simple and cheap recipe to make for a main meal during dinner time. I use to make this in college and I still love it.
1 lb. pkg. of egg noodles 2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained 2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce 16 oz. shredded cheese, any kind
Pour egg noodles in a large pot, add water to cover noodles and heat to boiling. Drain noodles when they are done. Poor noodles back into pot, add cooked ground beef and spaghetti sauce. Stir until everything is blended well. Spoon enough mixture into a 9x13 casserole or cake pan to fill it half full. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over mixture. Add a second layer of mixture and sprinkle more cheese over the top. Place in a 400-degree oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Glen Jennett
