This sauce is great for beef, chicken or pork.
1/2 C. blackberry preserves 1 1/2 C. ketchup 1/8 C. packed brown sugar 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp. mustard powder 2 Tbs. red wine vinegar
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together blackberry jam, ketchup, brown sugar, cayenne, mustard powder, and red wine vinegar. Brush on ribs or chicken for one tasty barbecue!Makes 2 cups.
