Cut up the ingredients the night before and in the morning fill crock pot. When you come home after a hard days work, it smells wonderful!
1 head cabbage, quartered 1 small bag of baby carrots 3 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces 2 onions, quartered Ham chunks Peas Green beans Salt and pepper, to taste Fresh parsley, chopped 1 quart chicken or vegetable broth
Add cabbage, carrots, celery, onions and ham to crock pot. Sprinkle salt, pepper and parsley on top. Pour broth over stew and set on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. During the last hour, add the peas and green beans. Serve with crusty bread.Jeralyn Predmore, Galion, OH
