5-6 chicken breasts, cut into serving size pieces 2 carrots, peeled and sliced 2 onions, sliced 2 celery stalks, chopped 2 tsp. salt 1/3 tsp. pepper 1/2 C. chicken broth 1/2 tsp. basil
