Ingredients

5-6 chicken breasts, cut into serving size pieces
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 onions, sliced
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1/2 C. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. basil

Directions

Put vegetables in the bottom of the crock pot. Add chicken and sprinkle on the seasonings. Add the water and cover. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 2 1/2-3 1/2 hours using 1 C. water.
