Amazingly flavorful, tender, eat-off-the-bone ribs! Can be cooked in a roasting pan or a crockpot.
2 lbs. spare ribs 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce 2/3 C. ketchup 1/2 C. vinegar 1 C. pineapple juice 1/3 C. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 Tbs. Worcestershire Thinly sliced onion and lemon
Broil all sides of ribs, drain. Combine garlic, tomato sauce, ketchup, vinegar, pineapple juice, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over ribs, either in crock-pot or roasting pan. Put lemon and onion slices on ribs. Bake uncovered 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Spoon sauce over meat occasionally.
