Presentation Pointers:

  1. Tart, crisp apples that hold their shape are best for pie-making. Fall or early winter is the ideal time to bake an apple pie because the apple crop is fresh.
  2. When you have something in your crockpot cooking, don’t open the lid! Moisture will escape from the crockpot, and you’re cooking time will continue to increase.
  3. The liquid in your crockpot should only be about 1/2 or 3/4 full. It will keep the moisture in the food and make it taste delicious!
