A Woman Can’t Live Without Her Lip Gloss

Lip Gloss is one of the easiest ways to highlight your lips; it creates a beautiful sleek and wet look. Not only does it moisturize your lips but it also creates a youthful and natural look as opposed to caking on lipstick that just dries out your lips. Find out some fabulous ways to make home-made lip gloss for yourself or give them to your closest girlfriends as gifts.

I can’t remember the last time I applied lipstick nor do I really want to. These past few years when it came to making my lips look luscious, I applied lip gloss. I have found in the past when using lipstick, my lips always dried out and I would end up with this disgusting crust on my lips from the lipstick. Yuck! Plus, looking for lipstick can be stressful when trying to figure out “what color” looks good with my skin type. When looking for lip gloss I find that it comes in any natural shade, smell and flavor. Unfortunately, as much as I love lip gloss it can get quite pricey because I go through so many tubes.

For all the ladies who can relate to my experience, you will be happy to know that I have found some great, inexpensive, and fun ways to make your own lip gloss. Below are some home-made recipes that I want to share with you. You can make these all for yourself or give them to your girlfriends as gifts.

Kool Aid Lip Gloss - you pick the flavor and out comes the shine and taste.

Ingredients

1/4 C. Crisco solid shortening

1 pkg. Kool-Aid (any desired flavor)

Directions

Pure Vanilla Lip Gloss - If you love how vanilla tastes and smells then this is the perfect gloss for you.

This is also a great excuse to gather up your girlfriends on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and have a little party. Not only could you all make lip gloss but you can catch up on life, and laugh a little. Or if you have a teenager or pre-teen daughter you could do this as a fun activity to spend some quality time with her. Every girl and woman loves to look pretty!
