Apple Crisp Recipes, Hints & Videos

Apples are high in dietary fiber and vitamins A and C and as everyone knows; "An apple a day keeps the Doctor away". Apples are great to cook with as they are available in a number of varieties all year round. Many people think crisps are a traditional American dish when in fact they are a relatively modern variation on cobblers.

Crisps are made by topping a fruit filling with butter, oats, brown sugar or a flour and cinnamon mix. The great thing about a crisp is that you can make it as sweet as you want by adjusting the amount of sugar in the topping. But however you like your crisps, there's no denying that an apple crisp is an easy and delicious way to end a meal.
