To make cabbage rolls; also known as stuffed cabbage, boil the leaves and then add the meat, spices. You can also add grains, breadcrumbs or vegetables. Then you can bake, boil or steam them. Cabbage Roll Recipes

Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 C. cooked rice
1 lg. egg
1 onion, chopped fine
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
1 large head of cabbage
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 16-oz. can of tomatoes
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Remove leaves from head of cabbage gently, trying to keep whole. Scald these in boiling salt water just to wilt a bit. Take and set these on paper towels to cool. Prepare meat mixture in a large bowl; add rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper; mix well. Place about 1/4 C. meat mixture in center of each leaf; fold in sides and roll ends over meat; secure with wooden toothpicks. Place in crockpot. Combine tomato soup, tomatoes, cinnamon, salt, and pepper; pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.

Quick and Easy Stuffed Cabbage Casserole
Ingredients
1/2 small head cabbage, shredded
1 large onion, shredded
1-1 1/2 lb. ground meat (use turkey for lighter version)
3 slices white bread, crusts removed
1 large egg
1/4 C. milk or water
2 C. cooked rice, cooled
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 small jar plain spaghetti sauce
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Directions
Put bread in a large mixing bowl and cover with milk. Let absorb for a while, then add egg, ground meat and seasonings. Mix until thoroughly blended.
Take a large casserole dish and start layering: 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce on the bottom, 1/3 of the cabbage and onions, 1/2 the meat mixture and all the rice, 1/3 more cabbage, rest of spaghetti sauce, rest of meat mixture, rest of cabbage and onions. Top the whole casserole with the can of diced tomatoes. Salt and pepper the tomatoes to taste.
Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with your favorite sides. You can make this in the crockpot too.

Polish Cabbage Roll Recipes
This delicious Polish recipe should yield about 10 rolls, depending on the size of the cabbage leaves.
Ingredients
1 head cabbage
1 and a half lbs. of hamburger
2 C. of cooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (46 oz.) can of tomato juice
Directions
Remove core from cabbage. Boil the head of cabbage and remove leaves as they soften. Combine hamburger, rice and salt and pepper. Place about 2 Tbs. of the meat mixture in the center of a cabbage leaf. Roll up from the bottom once, tuck in the sides of the leaf and keep rolling, forming a little bundle. Place in a roasting pan or oven proof casserole dish. Pour in enough tomato juice to cover the rolls and bake, covered, for about 2-3 hours until the juice is bubbly and the top rolls are browned.
