Cook Mom A Healthy Mother’s Day Brunch

Cook Mom A Healthy Mother’s Day Brunch

This year, Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 8th. Because this is the only day of the year that is truly devoted to appreciating the woman who raised you, make it special by making her brunch. To show that you really care about her well-being, skip the fattening stuff and make this Mother’s Day brunch a healthy one.

Presentation Pointers:
1. Fresh flowers always add a bit of life to the atmosphere- make sure they’re your mother’s favorite kind!

2. Make a photo board or photo table with pictures of your mother throughout the years.

3. Make sure the atmosphere fits your mother's personality.  If she's very refined, then put a little extra effort into the meal with nice silverware and china.  If she is more casual, plan a more laid-back meal.  You don't want your mother to feel uncomfortable at her own party!
