Pecan Praline Morsels

This is a Paula Deen recipe. Easy...quick...delicious. I like to take a small bag or jar of this delight as a hostess gift when we are invited to someone's home during the holidays.

Ingredients

    * 2 C. pecan halves
    * 1/2 C. light brown sugar, packed
    * 4 Tbs. heavy cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees degrees.

In a medium bowl combine pecans, brown sugar, and heavy cream. Spread into a square baking pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until coating is dry, and slightly crystallized, stirring once. Remove from oven to cool and stir once more. If not serving immediately, store in an airtight container.

Seasoned Saltines

You can't just eat one handful of these saltines – they're so addicting. Paula Deen recommends serving them with shrimp.

Ingredients

    * Saltine crackers
    * Melted butter, for brushing
    * Caraway seeds, for sprinkling
    * Celery seeds, for sprinkling
    * Sesame seeds, for sprinkling

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Brush crackers with melted butter and then arrange on a baking sheet. Sprinkle crackers with caraway seeds, celery seeds, or sesame seeds, or a combination. Bake until lightly golden. Serve with shrimp, if desired.

Paula Deen's Barbecue Sauce

Paula Deen has bottled her sweet and spicy BBQ Sauce and served up a winner. It comes off initially as being sweet but then the black pepper and worchestershire sauce kick in and deliver a spicy kick at the end. Add to that a smooth and easy-to-apply texture and you've got a winner.
