Host a BBQ Feast for your Father

Once the sun comes out and spring rolls around the men are all outside manning their grills and cookin’ up some of their famous grilled dishes. Come June 17th, it is time for the men to leave their posts and take a seat while you start grilling for them for Father’s Day.

To start this party off right there are a few things you need to prepare for. Know what your guest of honor's favorite foods are and make sure you serve it for him this day. To put a special touch into making anything that goes onto the grill, switch his recipe with something you came up with yourself. Below I have found some amazing and delicious recipes to get you started.

You will also need to make sure you have enough seats outside along with plastic utensils, plates, cups and napkins for everyone. A host should always be prepared before a party.

When it comes to beverages, make sure you have plenty of water for everyone. Since this day is only four days away from the first official day of summer, it’s likely going to be a hot day. Also stock up canned pop, beer and of course whatever the guest of honor likes to drink.

If you are one of the lucky ones who has a yard, consider setting up some games such as bean bag toss, croquet, whiffle ball, or badminton. This will keep everyone busy while you become the master griller for the day.

As far as decorations go, liven up the backyard with balloons, flowers and special patio lights. Try and find these decorations in his favorite colors.
