Host a Breast Cancer Awareness Event This October
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So if you know someone who has suffered from breast cancer, or simply would like to honor this cause, here's a great way to do it. Invite your friends and family over for a breast cancer awareness event. Share your knowledge, serve some classy food, and maybe even raise some money for breast cancer research!

Presentation Pointers:
1. The pink ribbon is the symbol of breast cancer awareness. Buy pre-made pink ribbons to pass out or make some yourself! Rubber pink bracelets with words of "hope," "strength," or "faith" will also do. For breast cancer awareness favors, click here.
2. If you'd like to make this a fundraising event, ask for a donation to breast cancer research in exchange for your dinner party! You create the menu and the price.
3. Come prepared with information. Prepare a presentation (or invite someone to give one) about the statistics of breast cancer, and how to avoid it: what types of foods to eat, how to do self examinations, etc.
