Host A Light Labor Day Luncheon

Host A Light Labor Day Luncheon

You want to relax on Labor Day, too! Instead of hosting a night-time dinner party, invite guests over during the day. The food will be easier to make, and everyone will leave by 8 or 9. You can unwind all night, and still know that you hosted a fabulous party!

This mini-party will be easy enough for you to throw without too much prep work. That way, you can enjoy the day like the rest of the guests. Everyone deserves a relaxing Labor Day.

Presentation Pointers:

  1. Even though this party is for the day, be prepared for some guests who might stay longer than others. You might need to light citronella candles and torches, just in case the mosquitoes come out.
  2. It can be pricey to rent tables, and it’s not economical for a luncheon. Try to make your backyard look like a picnic area instead, by setting up blankets on the grass area.
  3. Send out the invitations well in advance, since your guests might make other plans if you wait too long. Labor Day is a very popular holiday, so send the invitations 3 weeks before the party.
