Margaritas are synonymous with Mexican food and fun. Made from tequila, triple sec and lemon or lime juice, the margarita recipe makes a refreshing and potent cocktail. This basic combination has been added to over the years to include salt on the rim, freezing and a variety of fruity flavors. So gather your tequila and favorite mixer and start making margaritas.

This lime and tequila drink is the perfect addition to any summer party.

Ingredients

lime wedges

kosher salt, placed in a shallow dish

ice, crushed

2 oz. tequila

1 oz. triple sec

juice of 1 lime

Directions

Run a wedge of lime around the rim of a glass. Dip into salt. Fill the glass with ice. Add  tequila, triple sec, lime juice. Stir.
