Mascarpone Mayhem: My Favorite Recipes
Thanksgiving Panna Cotta: I am aware that it isn’t Thanksgiving, even though I wish it could always be. Panna cotta is a gelatin-like dessert made using mascarpone cheese. This recipe is great because it adds the flavors of my favorite holiday to the mix. Cranberries, orange, and ginger really work well with the creaminess of the cheese. Try it out and impress your guests!
Spiced Honey Crème Fruit Dip: Isn’t it fancy when cream is spelled crème? I think so. Anyway, this dessert combines two of my favorite things— honey and cheese. Throw fruit into the mix, and this is the perfect dessert or hors d'oeuvre for a wine-tasting or casual get-together!
Tiramisu Cheesecake: Tiramisu, delicious. Cheesecake, sent from heaven. Tiramisu cheesecake? Deliciously sent from heaven. This is one of my absolute favorite desserts, and it's really easy to pull off.
Peach and Mascarpone Parfait: How nice. Another cheese and fruit dish. See what I mean when I say it’s a delicious combination? Peaches and amaretto cookies really bring out the flavor of the mascarpone, so it’s a winning combination. If you’re hosting a large party, I suggest making little shot glass versions of this as a one-bite dessert!
Spinach Mascarpone Dip: Here’s a savory dip that I think really works. By combining the mascarpone with spinach, it’s a semi-healthy semi-indulgent appetizer. I like to call this one the yin-yang of appetizers.
Chocolate Hazlenut Cake with Mascarpone Topping: This is one of our highest rated desserts featuring mascarpone. Personally, I think this is a great combination of some quintessential Italian flavors. It makes a great birthday cake for the foodie in your life too!
