Merry Christmas: Now EAT!

Merry Christmas: Now EAT!

The holidays are just around the corner, and while many of us will be enjoying ourselves, a whole bunch of us will be afraid to touch anything at the holiday table. Instead of being afraid of gaining weight, enjoy! That's what the holidays are for!

According to a recent article on FitandFabLiving, many people are afraid of ruining their diet during the holidays. However, they fail to realize that 3,500 calories make up a pound. In addition to that, the human body itself burns between 2,000-2,500 calories a day by itself. That means you'd really have to eat at least 5,500 calories a day to gain a pound.

To put that in perspective, I'm showing you what you'd have to eat, and of course giving you the recipes.

6 Slices of this Juicy Prime Rib (~650 calories)

10 Slices of Ham (~450 calories)

1 lb. of Pressure Cooker Mashed Sweet Potatoes (~450 calories)

8 Chocolate Mint Crackers (~320 calories)

20 Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus (~800 calories)

2 lbs. of Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes (~900 calories)

2 slices of Famous Pumpkin Pie (~626 calories)

1 lb. of Cranberry Chutney (~800 calories)

See? It'd take all of that for you to gain ONE MEASELY POUND. So enjoy, and remember that I nor Recipe4Living take no responsibility for what happens to you if you actually eat all of that.

Merry Christmas!
