Our Top 10 Grilled Fruit Recipes

Burgers and hot dogs are definitely tasty, but they sure get boring after a while! Spice up your summer parties by adding some grilled fruit to the menu. Serve them on their own as a sweet side dish, or pair them with ice cream for dessert!

Grilled Peaches: The peaches are so juicy, it's a good idea to open each packet in a serving bowl in order to capture all the juice. Serve hot or cold as a side dish, or with ice cream, if desired, for dessert.

Grilled Pineapple: Flavored with honey and a little hot pepper sauce, this is a great fruit preparation.

Grilled Cantaloupe: Try this unique side the next time you're firing up your grill.

Grilled Peaches and Papaya: This dish is a wonderfully light summer dessert!

Grilled Apples: This easy recipe is perfect for the autumn season. Take an apple picking trip with the family and then make these with the "fruits" of your labor.

Grilled Pears with Raspberry Sauce: If you like, substitute blackberries or blueberries for the raspberries with their corresponding preserves. Fresh or frozen berries can be used, but taste them first; if they're tart, add a little sugar.

Hickory Smoked Grilled Peaches: The ingredients for smoked peaches sound a little odd. You would not think that blue cheese, honey and black pepper would go together on anything much less a peach. But they dance. This is a desert from Heaven.

Grilled Apricots with Fromage Blanc: Grilled fruit is a great finish to a backyard barbecue. The best fruits for grilling in my opinion, are apricots, peaches and nectarines (white are best).

Grilled Peaches with Fresh Cherry Sauce: This creates a pretty dessert with layers of brown sugar, grilled peaches, ice cream, and fresh cherry sauce.

Grilled Plantain with Ice Cream: This is a beautiful full-flavored mouth-watering dessert that melts in your mouth.
