Pin Your Favorite Recipes: Pinterest App Updates

Round up all your favorite foodie photos, because the Pinterest social network has announced the creation of an application specifically for iPad usage. They've also finally created an app for Android and even updated the iPhone app. Keep reading to learn more about how you can use Pinterest boards to arrange your foodie inspirations!

We love using Pinterest to show off our favorite recipes and culinary inspirations. How can you use Pinterest?

NEW! The app for the Pinterest iPad application has a built-in browser and uses two columns instead of one. This makes it easier to view your most recent recipe photos (pins) and navigate your pin boards, whether it's a casserole collection board or your favorite Labor Day recipes!

Tap on an image to load the pin into a larger image with its description. You are able to comment on pins in this function and see who re-pinned a pin. Add your favorite recipe photos while lounging on the couch or sitting in your car on your iPad. It's that easy. The app works in landscape mode; you can tap a pin in order to view it full-screen.

The iPhone application has been updated, too. It now includes an in-app browser that makes it easy to find the original source of the pin. Browsing was never easier; these updates are so user-friendly and easy to get the hang of.

Pinterest hasn't forgotten about the Android users! The Android application was designed to function the same way for different screen sizes, so whether you have a Droid X or a tablet, you can use the app with ease. Pinterest buttons are arranged at the top of the screen and a new photo can be taken and easily added to your board within seconds.
