"I absolutely loved it. The bread I made (Emeril's Herbed French Bread with Parmesan Crust) came out delicious. It was so much better than a lot of other breads I've had in restaurants! I was amazed how easy it was...I just plopped my ingredients in the bread pan in the order specified and hours later I had bread! The versatility of what this machine can make is also amazing: jam, pasta, even cakes! I couldn't believe it. For those who can afford it, this is a definitely a must-have kitchen accessory."

"Emeril's Bread Machine was a delight to use. The instructions are easy to follow, the recipes have simple ingredients and the results are excellent. I baked three different breads: Taste of Home's grapenut bread and two from the recipe book included with the machine: whole wheat bread and French baguettes.

The baguette stand makes the machine quite unique. I am impressed with the extra features such as the automatic settings that correspond with the recipes and are listed on the machine so you cannot make a mistake. Also, I like how you can choose the crust you prefer. The default crust setting is a little too crusty for me, I would recommend using the lighter crust. Compared to another bread machine I have used, this one is much easier and has many more options. I highly recommend this machine for new bread bakers as well as for seasoned cooks.

I look forward to trying out the other items that can be made: jam, marmalade, pizza dough and cakes. I might even try baking my own hamburger buns by having the machine ready the dough for baking!"

"What a wonderful experience, being introduced to the Emeril T-Fal Bread Maker and using it for the first time. The recipe I used was excellent and the final product was extraordinary. I made the French Baguettes and what a fantastic product! The crust was crunchy but not tough and the interior of the little baguettes was excellent. Firm, yet soft. It was an excellent recipe, an excellent machine and a wonderful opportunity to test for Recipe4Living."

Bread Machine French Baguettes - This recipe for French baguettes in a bread machine is designed for the EmerilWare Bread Maker. I followed the instructions on the machine, # 9, and in under 3  hours, we had wonderful baguettes that I served with bruschetta I made from home grown tomatoes, basil, garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil. I served with a nice Italian Pinot Grigio and we had a a wonderful evening.

Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast

1 7/8 C. whole wheat white flour

3/4 C. water

1 Tbs. buttermilk powder

1 Tbs. salt

1 Tbs. sugar

2 tsp. olive oil

Directions

Pour water, salt, sugar, and olive oil into bread pan. Add flour and buttermilk powder. Sprinkle yeast over the top and initiate Program #9.

At the end of the cycle, when you hear the beep, open the machine and take out the dough. Divide it into 4 equal parts and shape the baguettes into the pans. Make several deep cuts in them with the finishing blade or a sharp knife.

Place the baguette cooking rack back into the machine in place of the bread pan and press On/Off button to resume baking.
