Editor's Review

"I tried the Steak flavor of Mrs. Dash® Grilling Blends on some grilled steaks and it was wonderful! It was a huge step up from our ordinary seasoning for steak. The meat popped with flavor and it was so easy to apply. I just dabbed my steak with some olive oil, sprinkled on the Mrs. Dash® steak seasoning and grilled away. I cooked this steak side by side with one that soaked in a marinade and I liked the Mrs. Dash® flavoring a thousand times more. No joke!"

Review

"I thought it was great.  I have made these lamb patties without it and they weren't as good.  I really like Mrs Dash®'s salt-free products.  I have high blood pressure and can only use a minimal amount of salt.  Mrs. Dash®'s seasoning add a lot of flavor but no salt. I would definitely buy more when I run out of what was sent to me to test."

"Mrs. Dash is a name very familiar to me.  I have been using this brand for many years trying to enhance the flavor of my foods -  first when I was on Weight Watchers (over 30 years ago) and presently since my husband now has diabetes.  For years I have been trying to get him to eat a balanced diet and I'm finally now succeeding in that area. I am trying to put more flavor in my cooking so that he doesn't miss the bad fats and empty carbs that he originally filled his diet with.

My husband would never eat fish unless it was battered and deep fried.  I was able to use the Mrs. Dash® Grilling Blend to help enhance the flavor of tilapia filets when baking them.  I just sprinkled lemon juice and the Mrs. Dash, Grilling Blend on them before putting them into the oven.  I was pleased with the taste results, and am looking forward to trying the other flavors!"

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 slice whole wheat bread

1/4 C. milk

1 egg

1 Tbs. Mrs. Dash Grilling Blend (Hamburger flavor)

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Soak bread in milk. Add remaining ingredients; mix. Put in loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Review

"The hamburger flavor of Mrs. Dash® contains dill.  I am not a fan of dill, therefore I did not like this seasoning. You could taste the dill in the meatloaf.  But for those who like dill, it would be a good seasoning."
