Buttercream Frosting

This covers a larger cake, but I would double it for a layer or bundt cake. It is really good.

  • 2 Tbs. flour
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour and milk. Cook over low flame until thickened. Let cool. Cream butter and sugar. Beat for 5 min. Add cooled paste and add vanilla. Beat another 6 mins.
