REVIEW: Campbell’s Skillet Sauces – Bacon Cheddar Beef

I'm bringing you the low down on Campbell's Skillet Sauce: does it stand up to the heat in the kitchen?

I had been planning this dinner all week. I’m living with my boyfriend and his family, so they’re always happy when I offer to cook. I’ve been trying to stay away from red meats, so I substituted ground turkey for beef. It was delicious, and so easy!

I sauteéd some fresh brussel sprouts, boiled some whole grain spaghetti, and tossed some potato slices in oil, garlic, and parmesan. I was so excited (and busy) preparing this meal, I forgot to take pictures of the process. Whoops! But the finished product is what really matters. The sauce was easy to use and tasty. I broke up the cooked ground turkey and tossed it with the drained pasta and added the bacon cheddar skillet sauce. My boyfriend’s father had THREE helpings, and said multiple times how good it was, and the rest of us agreed.

Next time I’m at the store, you can bet I’ll be picking up a handful of the various flavors of skillet sauces from Campbell’s.
