April 28, 2007-24th Annual International Beer Festival- Over 300 beers are yours to sample with an unlimited tasting pass complete with your very own stein. Local restaurants will also offer plenty of food to wash down with beer.

 

May 19, 2007- 8th Annual San Francisco Oyster and Beer Festival- Enjoy a festival in the Irish tradition complete with plenty of oysters, stout, and live Irish music.

 

May 10. 2007-UNCORKED- San Francisco Wine Festival- Taste the wine of the Bay Area region in the famous Ghirardelli Square. 

 

June 16-17, 2007-North Beach Festival- Often associated with San Francisco's Little Italy, this is the oldest street festival in San Francisco featuring plenty of food, celebrity chefs, and a pizza toss, amongst other events.

 

July 4, 2007-Waterfront Festival at Pier 39- In addition to the prerequisite fireworks and local bands, enjoy a variety of good food.

 

September 8-9, 2007-12th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival- One of the most popular food festivals in the city, Beach Street is closed down for two days to celebrate chocolate with plenty of treats, chef demonstrations and live music. The festival benefits Project Open Hand.

 

September 13, 2007- The Joy of Sake- This is the largest sake tasting event outside of Japan with almost 300 different sakes to sample. The event also occurs in New York.

 

October 11-14, 2007-Oktoberfest By the Bay- Celebrating the tradition of Munich's famed Oktoberfest, this three-day festival features music, dancing, and the very best in German food, and of course, beer!
