Presentation Pointers:

  1. Some of the friends that you invite to your potluck party may not enjoy cooking. Make sure to encourage them to bring plates, napkins or beverages so they can still get in on the fun.
  2. Tell your guests to write out the recipe of the dish they have brought to the potluck onto a note card. Place the cards in a hat or bag, and allow each guest to pick a recipe out before leaving. That way, they have a chance to cook up a new and tasty recipe when they get home.
  3. Invite your guests to play food-related party games! Blindfold them and have them try to correctly guess which fresh herb or spice is in front of them based solely on smell or, if they’re ambitious, taste. Give the winner a cookbook or a helpful kitchen tool.
