Super Bowl Sunday
Don't even try to pretend that you're not going to watch the Super Bowl. Unless you don't have a TV or happen to be in the middle of the ocean (in which case you could probably get it anyway on your cell phone), you know you'll be plopped in front of a giant, flat-screen plasma remarking on the incredible clarity of HD and how green the field looks. And it doesn't matter if you "just watch for the commercials" or if you have a vested interest (read: bet) in one of the teams, the Super Bowl has become a national media tradition that is unavoidable.
This year as two teams (yet to be decided) head off in Super Bowl XLII (that's number 62 for those of you non-Roman-Numeral-readers), throw an XL plus II-sized feast to go along with it. If you are fortunate to live a region where you can barbecue year-round, your Super Bowl menu is probably pretty simple: brats and beer. Not that there's anything wrong with it. But for those of you who might want to try something new or different, take a look at our Super-Sized Super Bowl Menus from around the globe. Or check out our compilation of the basic Football Food Groups. In each food group, you'll find a variety of dishes and a Draft Pick for easier browsing (and consumption).
