The Sandwich Board: Our Must-Have Sandwich Recipes

There are a whole lot of sandwiches out there to make. They can range from simple to extremely complex, appetizers all the way to desserts. I’ve seen some crazy-delicious recipes here on Recipe4Living, but I’ve also seen some that are downright crazy. Here are what I like to call our “must-have” sandwich recipes. They’re classics, they’re simple, and they’re delicious. Enjoy!

Monster Burger- This burger is topped with beer-battered onion rings, pickled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and some spicy mustard. It's not the healthiest thing you could eat, but it's certainly delicious!

A Classy Classic Club- That's a triple alliteration there, so I think I should win some type of award. Anyway, the club sandwich was one of my favorites as a kid, which probably explains why I was so "husky." These sandwiches are fantastic, and I still enjoy them, just not as often! 

Luscious Lobster Rolls- I put an alliteration in the name, so you know it's good. Plus, you can make mini-versions of these as the perfect appetizer for your next party! 

The Quintessential Cuban Sandwich- The Cuban sandwich is my absolute favorite. It's stacked high with pork, ham, Swiss cheese and pickles. Then it's pressed and warmed through. It's really a great sandwich. 

Copycat Portillo’s Italian Beef- Nothing says Chicago like the Italian Beef Sandwich. It’s juicy, spicy, meaty, and absolutely one of THE comfort food items in the Midwest. Not only is this one of my personal favorites, it’s one of our collective favorites in the office. 

Cajun Tilapia Sandwiches With Cilantro-Lime Mayonnaise- Citrus and fish go together hand in hand, like… well, citrus and fish. Anyway, this sandwich is deliciously spicy while the flavorful mayonnaise cools things off. This is a great sandwich to have whenever Tilapia is in season!

The Sandwich- I think this one deserves the title of THE before it, because it really is one of the end-all, be-all sandwiches ever. If I didn't have any regard for my health, I'd totally eat these every day.
