  • My favorite potluck recipe is my aunt Louise's chicken pie. The recipe is so old it calls for a large broiler, cooked, boned and cut up. I just use boneless chicken breasts.

    Aunt Louise's Chicken Pie

    5 cups+ cut up cooked chicken, salted to taste
    1 can cream of chicken soup with 1 can chicken broth. { I use the broth I cooked the chicken in.}
    pepper
    Put chicken in a casserole dish. Mix the other ingredients and pour over the chicken.

    Cream Crust

    1 stick butter, room temperature
    3 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
    1 cup flour
    Mix together and either roll out or cut in shapes and place on the chicken. Bake at 350 F. until bubbly and brown. Delicious!
