The thick yet fluffy Greek strained yogurt, Fage (pronounced “fah-yeh”), is an increasingly popular product, especially in foodie communities.

Fage offers varieties with fruit preserves (strawberry, cherry, peach), honey, walnuts, and even a tzatziki cucumber sauce. The plain Fage yogurts (original, 0%, 2% and 5%) are especially popular, because they are easily adaptable to additions like fruits or nuts and can be used in a variety of recipes. A cup of Fage 0% with a little honey and a few banana slices makes a delicious and healthy breakfast. 1. Ideas for Additions to Fage Yogurt Grape nuts cereal

2. Fage yogurt works well with a variety of savory dishes because it won’t separate like other yogurts when heated. Use with curries, squash soups, and as a replacement for sour cream with chili and baked potatoes.

3. Mix in your favorite items and freeze your Fage yogurt for the perfect summer treat. With or without an ice cream maker, use 3 C. original Fage, ¾ C. sugar, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Freeze for 1 hour. Heidi from 101 Cookbooks says this recipe rivals famous Pinkberry’s yogurt in NYC.
