Treat Your Mom Like a Queen By Hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch
Moms are wonderful; they are the most nurturing people in the world and would do absolutely anything in this world to make their children happy. Moms are known to put their children’s happiness in front of their own at all times and at all costs. It’s time to repay her back for the things she has given to you and what is a better way then to show her how much you care, then to cook up a feast she’ll really enjoy? Instead of her sweating and cooking in the kitchen, let her sit down with her favorite magazine and you do all the cooking.
First and foremost, you want to be prepared for this day with a kitchen stocked with all the necessary ingredients you will need to prepare the perfect brunch. Plan ahead of time and make a list of ingredients and items you will need. Go shopping at least one day in advance. If you mom is around when you start cooking, do not let her lift a finger! You should tell her the kitchen is off limits. Have her favorite movie in the DVD player or some of her favorite magazines on the table for her to look through. If available, have some early childhood family photo albums set out on the table for her to look through. This is a day for her to relax. When it comes to decorating the dinner table for the brunch keep in mind that women are known to love flowers! Have her favorite flowers on the dinner table and use them as a centerpiece. Place your Mother’s Day card on her plate so when she sits down it will be waiting for her. Make sure there is a hand written letter in the envelope for her expressing how much you love her and how grateful you are to have her as a mom. It means so much more if you hand write something than just buying a card and signing it. As far as the menu goes for this special day, below are some recipes which would be perfect for you to make and present to her this Mother’s Day.
