Under Pressure: NEW Pressure Cooker Recipes

Pressure cooking may appear daunting, but all the new cookers on the market have plenty of safety and convenience features to make things virtually foolproof. I recently got into pressure cooking, and have been going crazy with concocting new recipes. I love them so much because things taste like they have been cooked all day even though it takes under an hour to complete most recipes. Here are some of our newest pressure cooker recipes. Break yours out of the cabinet and give it a try! You won’t regret it!

Easy-Peel Hard Boiled Eggs- Hard boiled eggs are one of my addictions. I hate peeling them though, because most of the white gets lost in the process. By using a pressure cooker, not only do you save time in this recipe, but the pressure causes the pocker of air between the white and the shell to inflate, which means that peeling will be a cinch!

Easy Pressure Cooker Cornbread- You haven't lived until you've tried cornbread made in a pressure cooker! I was afraid of using a pressure cooker for a long time, and I shouldn't have been! The new ones have a bunch of safety features, and food comes out absolutely delicious. Try this out with a hot bowl of chili!

Pressure Cooker Chicken and Dumplings- This is a delicious and quick recipe for chicken and dumplings. The pressure cooker speeds things up nicely! This makes a great weeknight meal for those of us who don't have much time!

Pressure Cooker Baked Beans- Not only is this recipe made in a pressure cooker, it's also vegetarian! Try it out as a side with some delicious cornbread or as a base for chili!

Ten Minute Mac and Cheese- Macaroni and cheese is one of the best things ever, isn't it? I was thinking how I could improve upon it even more. Flavor-wise, there isn't much room. By using a pressure cooker, it shaves a bunch of time off of the recipe and still yields a delicious result!

Pressure Cooker Beef Stew- Beef stew is one of the heartiest comfort foods out there. But to make a good one, it usually takes a lot of time. Not this one! By using a pressure cooker, I was able to shave hours off of the cooking time without sacrificing flavor!

Super-Simple Orange Marmalade- Marmalade is delicious; I have it almost every day with a slice of toast. This weekend, I decided to try and make my own. Boy, was I shocked at the results. Not only does this take a fraction of the time, it tastes better than store bought! You have to try this!

Pressure Cooker Lasagna- Believe it or not, it's possible to make lasagna in a pressure cooker. My favorite thing about this recipe is how much time it shaves off from a traditional lasagna. Try it out for dinner tonight!

Pressure Cooker Mocha Cheesecake- Pressure cookers aren't just for stews and roasts, they can be used for desserts too! Don't be afraid of using them to their full potential! Many of the newer models also have plenty of safety features, so don't be afraid! This recipe for pressure cooked mocha cheesecake was a hit last time I made it!
