With the current economic turmoil, it's time we make that conscious effort to start saving on our meals at home. So for this week, we've compiled a budget friendly meal planner that cuts the cost without cutting the satisfaction or nutrition.

Stretch a large package of ground beef (or ground turkey) throughout the week with stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf and easy baked spaghetti. Or, see how far some pasta will go with angel hair pasta on Monday and your baked spaghetti dish on Friday (you can use the same pasta in both). All of the ingredients in this meal planner are hand selected for cheap, nutritious and easy meals!

Monday - Meatless Angel Hair Pasta with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Old Fashioned Tomato Soup

Super Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

Tuesday - Global

Pierogi Casserole

Polish Cabbage Rolls

Lemon Babka

Wednesday - Healthy Easy Crockpot Stuffed Bell Peppers

Green Beans, Tomatoes, and Mushrooms

Thursday - Leftovers Chicken with Mushroom Sauce (Instead of the canned soup, use leftover sauce from Monday)

Cheap Cheesy Potatoes (Use up leftover potatoes from Tuesday's Pierogi Casserole)

Green Beans in Garlic Sauce (Cook up any leftover green beans from yesterday)

Friday - Quick & Easy Easy Baked Spaghetti

Quick Baked Squash

Yummy Custard

Saturday - Entertaining Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Easy Cranberry Sauce

Noodle and Rice Casserole

Sunday - Family Split Pea Soup

Home Style Meatloaf
