Memorial Day Recipes

What to Make For Your Inauguration Day Party

In November, we elected Barack Obama to become the next  U.S. President. On January 20, 2009, the whole country will watch as he is inaugurated into the White House. Now the important question is: what should you cook?

Serve up a party full of Obama's favorite foods and patriotic recipes as you watch this historic moment in U.S. history. We know Obama loves chili and Mexican food (particularly Tobolobampo restaurant in Chicago), hates beets and isn't a huge fan of sweets. He is also from Hawaii and may have grown up with some Hawaiian recipes. So, to make your menu planning much easier, we've put together a whole bunch of recipes for you to choose from. Have people over to watch the inauguration at noon or simply celebrate Tuesday evening.
