These 10-minute cherry tarts are a great quick and easy dessert or snack for any event, party or school function. Just make them the night before and refrigerate overnight.

  • 1/2 lb. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 Tbs. softened butter
  • 7 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 C. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Mix cheese, egg, vanilla and 4 tablespoons sugar until smooth; set aside. Combine 3 tablespoons sugar, crumbs and butter. Put 1 tablespoon graham cracker crumb mixture into small muffin pans lined with cups. Press down with your thumb. Fill with 1 teaspoon of cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. After cooled top with cherry filling, then refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
