7 Up Strawberry Pie

This clever pie uses the lemon-lime soda for a little extra flavoring.

Ingredients

1 C. 7-Up or lemon-lime soda
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 ready-made pie shell
1.5 oz. strawberry Jell-O mix (1/2 pkg.)
2 C. sliced strawberries
8 oz. whipped cream

Directions

Combine 7-Up or lemon-lime soda, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Cook until thick. Remove from heat. Add Jell-O mix and stir well. Arrange strawberries in bottom of pie crust. Pour Jell-O mixture over berries. Top with whipped cream. Refrigerate until set.
