  • 1 box elbow macaroni noodles
  • ¼ C. butter
  • 1 C. amber beer
  • 3 C. shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 2 C. milk
  • ¼ C. heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ C. parmesan cheese
  • 2 T. minced chives
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ C. flour
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions.
Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add garlic, salt and pepper then stir. Whisk in milk, beer and flour and bring to a boil. Reduce heat then stir in ¾ of the cheeses.
Put noodles into casserole dish then pour cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheese on top of the macaroni and cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
