  • 1 C. cake flour
  • 12 egg whites
  • 1 ½ C. sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • Dash sea salt
  • Fresh strawberries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using an electric mixer, beat egg whites until foamy. Increase speed and beat in cream of tartar until soft peaks begin to form. Gradually add in sugar while continuing to beat as peaks become stiff. Briefly beat in vanilla until combined. In a bowl, combine cake flour and sea salt; gently fold into egg white mixture. Pour batter into a pan and bake for 40 minutes until edges pull away from the sides and the cake is springy to the touch. Top with fresh strawberries and serve!
