Cheeseburgers are perfect at barbecues, but it's too cold out to grill. These wonderful burgers are easy to cook inside and go great with a side of fries.

  • 4 sesame buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 beefsteak tomato
  • 4 slices butter lettuce
  • 1 kosher dill pickle
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Slice the onion, tomato, and pickle. In a large bowl knead the beef with salt, pepper, and paprika. Form the beef into 4 patties. Place a skillet over high heat and cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side. After flipping, place the cheese slices on the burgers to melt.

Remove the burgers from heat and place them on the buns. Layer on the tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and onion, along with whatever condiments you want.
