All-In-One Cookies

This is one of my kids favorite cookies. They are really easy to make and well worth the 10 minutes baking time. They are somewhat like chocolate chunk cookies but you also sprinkle the top with cocoa.

Ingredients

1 C. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 C. sugar
3/4 C. packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 bag of Hershey's bake shoppe baking pieces
1/2 C. Hershey's cocoa

Directions

In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt with electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Sift in flour and baking soda. Stir in bake shoppe pieces. Drop by rounded tsp. onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Sprinkle with cocoa.
