Almond Joy Cake

This is a great way to add a personal touch to a boxed cake.

Ingredients

1 package Devil's food cake mix
20 large marshmallows
11 oz. coconut
1 C. evaporated milk
1 C. sugar
1 C. almonds, chopped

Directions

Make chocolate cake according to package directions in 2 round pans. Prepare your favorite chocolate frosting or use the kind that comes pre-made. While cake is cooling, heat evaporated milk, sugar and marshmallows in a very large saucepan. When marshmallows are melted, add coconut and almonds. Spread this on top of the bottom cake layer. Top with other cake layer and frost with chocolate frosting.
