If you are fan of the rich coconut and chocolate candy bar then you will love this recipe for Almond Joy pie. The rich coconut filling with the chocolate cookie crumb piecrust is simply to die for.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes instant coconut cream pudding/pie filling
  • 1/3 C. coconut flakes
  • 2 1/4 oz. package slivered almonds
  • 1 chocolate cookie crumb piecrust
  • Chocolate syrup

Directions

Make coconut cream pie filing according to directions on box for pie filling. Stir coconut flakes into filling mixture. Layer slivered almond on bottom of piecrust, covering bottom completely.


Pour pie filling carefully into piecrust over the almond slivers. Let cool in refrigerator until set. Drizzle with chocolate syrup, slice, and serve.
