Amazing Stuffed Mushrooms

- 12 lg. mushrooms, cleaned, stems removed
- 8-oz. cream cheese, softened
- 4-oz. flaked crab meat
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 sliced scallions, green and white parts
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1/4 C. bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Place vegetable oil and garlic in a pan over low heat, and sauté until garlic is just beginning to brown. Remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, crab meat, scallions, salt, pepper, and garlic mixture.
Place mushrooms onto baking sheet and fill the indentation where the stem was with a heaping pile of the cream cheese mixture. Divide the mixture equally among the mushrooms. Top each mushroom with a sprinkling of bread crumbs.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until mushrooms start to release water and the bread crumbs are browned.
