  • ¾ C. brown sugar
  • 1/3 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 C. milk
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 baked pastry shell
  • 4 bananas, sliced

In a pan that’s over medium heat, combine the flour, sugar, milk, and salt. Stir for about 5 minutes and then place the hot mixture in a bowl that contains the beaten egg yolks. Cook for about 2 more minutes. Once you remove the mixture from the stove, add butter and vanilla. The mixture is ready when it resembles pudding. Place the mixture in the baked pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes. When it’s ready, place the blueberries on the upper left side and make a square. Then, make the stripes starting with a strawberry line and following it with a banana line. Follow this pattern until there is no longer any blank space.
