Angel Food Cake
Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 egg whites
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 C. sugar
- 3/4 C. flour
Directions
Add salt to egg whites and beat. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Add vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and flour together. Sift several times. Then sift sugar and flour mixture over egg whites while folding in as quickly as possible. Pour into ungreased tube pan and bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
