Anise Biscotti

This is a softer version of the hard biscotti; it has been passed down from my mother. This cookie was made every Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you like the taste of licorice, you'll like the taste of this cookie.

Ingredients

  • 4 C. flour
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs (I use 1 cup Egg Beaters)
  • 1/4 lb. butter, melted (I use New Balance)
  • 4-8 drops oil of Anise
  • 5 Tbs. milk

Directions

Grease a large cookie sheet. Mix dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Mix and knead into a ball and shape as desired. Bake in 375- degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
