  • Crumble topping
  • ½ C. all-purpose flour
  • ¼ C. sugar
  • ¼ C. brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ C. salted butter, chilled
  • Apple mixture
  • 7 medium sized apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 C. apple cider
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 1 T. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray 8x8 in. square baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Put crumble topping ingredients (flour, sugar, brown sugar, butter) in a blender or food processor and pulse until crumbly. Next combne apples, apple cider, leftover sugar, lemon juice, remaining flour, and cinnamon until apples are completely covered. Spoon apple mixture into baking dish and sprinkle crumb mixture on top. Bake for 40 minutes or until lightly brown. Serve warm with a side of vanilla ice cream.
