Who needs a crust when you can have a sweet apple crumb pie, with a killer filling? Not me or my family. This is perfect for us. Try this while its hot with some ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Filling
  • 5 C. apples, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 C. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs. flour
  • Topping
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • salt
  • 1 stick butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Combine filling ingredients in a bowl and blend well. Spread mixture into pan. Combine topping ingredients, except butter, in a bowl and blend well. Sprinkle topping mixture over the prepared apples and drizzle with melted butter.


Bake for 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples cooked. Serve warm or cold.
